FTC Acting Chairman Maureen K Ohlhausen to Participate in International Competition Network Conference in Porto, Portugal

Federal Trade Commission Acting Chairman Maureen K. Ohlhausen and Acting Assistant Attorney General Andrew C. Finch of the Justice Department’s Antitrust Division will participate in the 16th annual International Competition Network (ICN) conference in Porto, Portugal from May 10 to 12, 2017. At the conference, antitrust officials, private sector antitrust experts and representatives of intergovernmental organizations from around the world will discuss key competition issues and recent ICN work.

The ICN includes 135 member agencies from 122 jurisdictions. It provides a forum for antitrust agencies to address enforcement and policy issues of common interest, develop and encourage implementation of best practices and propose ways that member agencies could more closely align their policies and procedures.

The Federal Trade Commission works with foreign governments to promote international cooperation and sound policy. Like the FTC on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and subscribe to press releases and the FTC International Monthly for the latest FTC news and resources.
