FTC Chairwoman Edith Ramirez to Participate in International Competition Network Conference in Singapore

Federal Trade Commission Chairwoman Edith Ramirez and Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Renata Hesse of the Justice Department’s Antitrust Division will participate in the 15th annual International Competition Network (ICN) conference in Singapore from April 26-29, 2016. At the conference, antitrust officials and private sector antitrust experts from around the world and representatives of intergovernmental organizations will discuss key competition issues and recent ICN work.

The ICN includes 132 member agencies from 120 jurisdictions. It provides a forum for antitrust agencies to address enforcement and policy issues of common interest and to propose ways that member agencies could more closely align their policies and procedures.

The Federal Trade Commission works with foreign governments to promote international cooperation and sound policy.  Like the FTC on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and subscribe to press releases and the FTC International Monthly for the latest FTC news and resources.
