National Association of Realtors Recognizes Debra Lichter of Sarasota, Florida.
Lichter is a multimillion-dollar producer and luxury waterfront specialist with experience in Florida real estate development, investment and residential sales. For properties with an income stream, she was an SEC Registered Broker-Dealer and member of the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD, now FINRA) for 10 years.
Lichter is very active in her industry, serving as 2018 Chair and 2017 Vice-Chair of the RASM Realtor-Attorney Joint Committee (RAJC), which is composed of eight RASM Realtors and eight Sarasota-Manatee real estate attorneys. She has served three terms on the Public Information Committee, which she co-founded in 2006 and chaired in 2006 and 2007. She was appointed to a three-year term as a non-attorney member of the Bar Association Grievance Committee for the 12th Circuit.
Her efforts on behalf of the industry and board earned her the Realtor Association President’s Award in 2007. Clients rewarded her customer service by voting for her to receive the 2019 and 2020 Five Star Real Estate Agent Award for best in customer satisfaction.
A Florida native born in Miami, Lichter earned a B.S. in Political Science and International Studies with a minor in Business Management from the University of South Florida in Sarasota. She cites being a mother and grandmother as the most important part of her life, and was a founding parent of Sarasota Crew and an MIT Parent Connector.
