Managing Attorney, Omni Kiecker, of Kiecker Law will hold two seminars on Thursday, October 24th at 4:00. The seminars will take place at the KingsPath Senior Living Facility at 125 Commerce Dr W in Belle Plaine, MN. All guests to this even will also receive a free copy of “The Ultimate Retirement To-Do List.”
The guests at this seminar will already have built their nest egg through years of hard work and saving, but now they will need to transition to the next stage in their life in retirement. They will learn what is available to them to protect their assets. This includes if they encounter health issues and need someone to make decisions for them as well as if they need to live in a nursing home and want to preserve their wealth during that time.
Estate planning for these individuals will also include looking at what happens to their assets when they do eventually pass away. Do they want their nest egg to go to their kids? Do they have a child that will need more of an inheritance to survive due to their own health issues? Or maybe they just want everything given to their church or another charity. The possibilities are endless for what someone may want done with their money.
This seminar will explain all tools and strategies available to help them accomplish their goals, whatever they may be. According to the AARP, 60% of Americans have not completed an estate plan. Retirement is an exciting time, but an estate plan is something people that are either already retired or will be retiring soon need to complete. These seminars will serve as one way they can understand more about estate planning and becoming more secure in their retirement.
This seminar is being conducted by Omni Kiecker Esq. of Kiecker Law which has offices in Mankato and Belle Plaine. Omni’s specialty is in Estate Planning and Business Law. She has written an estate planning book specifically designed for parents with special needs children. She has served as an adjunct professor at Minnesota State University, Mankato teaching students about Business Law.
