Future Electronics President Robert Miller Congratulates Donna Edwards on 35 Years

Future Electronics and its President, Robert Miller, recently recognized Donna Edwards on the 35th anniversary of her employment with the company.

Pointe Claire, Canada, October 05, 2019 –(PR.com)– Future Electronics is a global leading distributor of electronic components with corporate headquarters in Montreal, Canada.

Robert Miller, the company’s President, recently congratulated employee Donna Edwards on the occasion of her 35th anniversary with the company.

Donna was raised in Connecticut, and attended Western Connecticut State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management in 1980.

She moved to California in 1983, and began working as an Interconnect Product Manager at the Future Irvine Branch in 1984, before moving to Inside Sales in 1993. “I still enjoy my job!” she said.

Donna has worked in sales for her entire career at Future Electronics, during which time she also raised two daughters, Stefanie and Sara. “I was a single mom, and very involved with raising my children,” she said. “Future was very understanding and supportive over the years, which allowed me to manage both a family and my work.”

Today, Donna is a Senior Sales Executive. “I would say the way to be successful at Future is to go the extra mile, be a team player, be a driver, be competitive,” she said. “Take on the challenges, enjoy the wins, and most importantly, enjoy what you do!”

Outside of work, Donna’s interests include travel, painting, ceramics, and plants. “I enjoy gardening outside, but I have no skill for indoor plants.”

She also loves boating, camping, car racing and football, where she cheers for the New England Patriots. “I like to bowl, and I’ve been in a league for many years,” she said. “I also like to gamble; but I do not like to lose!”

Future’s founder and President Robert Miller believes that the company’s employees are its greatest asset. Future Electronics highly values the commitment of its people, and milestone anniversaries are recognized with personalized cards, plaques, vouchers, and other gifts based on length of tenure.
