“Zachariah Lars and the High Elf Mystery” is a witty, wild, and fast-paced story.
It takes place in present day Saint Louis, Missouri, in the “New World.” Zachariah Lars – former Magi Police Officer turned Private Investigator – takes the cases that the Magi won’t touch. When Zachariah is visited by High Princess Mahtab of the African high elves, she tells him someone wants to assassinate her.
Zachariah must piece together the mystery of not only this stunningly beautiful African high elf, but also who is behind the assassination attempts on her life. He only has three days to accomplish the task. Mystery, intrigue, humor, magic, and foul language abound in the first of this planned series by Jonathan M. Lazar.
