The holiday market will feature a selection of vendors, mostly local businesses from New York and neighboring areas, to offer a variety of exclusively vegan products to the general public.
Attendees will find skincare care products, cosmetics, baked goods, dairy-free fine cheeses, chocolates, savory foods, fashion items such as handbags, jewelry, winter coats, and more. All products are made without any animal-sourced material or exploitation, a defining characteristic of veganism and main concept behind the event.
“We want to invite the public to do their shopping in a manner that underlines the true essence of the Holidays, which is a celebration of peace, love and compassion for all beings, both humans and animals,” said event creator and organizer, An Pham.
The Vegan Christmas Market will also return to Montreal, Canada for a 2nd edition on Dec. 7 and 8, following its successful inauguration last year, then will close the season in Toronto on December 14, 2019.
More than two dozen vendors have been selected and are slated to participate in the first edition in NYC, which will take place at 342 W. 37th Street, New York.
General admission is free. The Market opens from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 30, then from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 1. VIP tickets are $8 (plus Eventbrite processing fee), and include a limited collection vegan beanie by VEGAGOOZ, 1-hour advanced shopping time on Nov. 30 starting at 10 a.m., as well as exclusive promotions.

Brew Dr. Kombucha (www.brewdrkombucha.com)
In 2006, Matt Thomas started Townshend’s Tea Company with the idea of serving great teas in a casual teahouse setting. Then they began making kombucha in the kitchen of their first teahouse using the same great teas served to guests. It got so popular they decided to bottle it, giving it the name Brew Dr. Kombucha. Every batch of Brew Dr. Kombucha is crafted from the beginning, using the same high-quality organic teas served at their Townshend’s Teahouses and adding only organic botanicals (dried herbs, roots and fruits). Their organic 100% raw kombucha can be found in all 50 states and across Canada.
Arbonne (www.arbonne.com)
Arbonne offers beauty and skincare products made with pure, botanically based ingredients that are scientifically tested. For over 35 years, this has been the hallmark of their product integrity. From the beginning, Arbonne has developed products by combining the best of nature with leading science. Arbonne products are certified by The Vegan Society and PETA.
