ONUS Launches in Denver in Time for the Holidays

Ride-credit app launches in Denver to help party-goers be safe after a night out just got easier.

Denver, CO, October 10, 2019 –(PR.com)– December is not only a busy shopping month, but it is also a time for social gatherings and friend and family get-togethers. As more and more people celebrate these events at local restaurants and bars, getting everyone home safely has become an important part of the planning.

ONUS has partnered with the Safe Streets Initiative to dedicate the month of December as Safe Streets Month™, an event dedicated to keeping our streets safe from substance-related car accidents. Safe Streets Month™ is December 1, 2019 to January 1, 2020 starting in Denver, Colorado.

According to Transportation.gov, “over the past 5 years, an average of 300 people lost their lives during the week between Christmas and New Year,” in December 2016 alone, more than 780 people lost their lives in DUI related crashes. A revolutionary app is poised to change that.

Statistics like these emphasize the need for everyone to have a safe plan to get home. ONUS agrees and is excited to launch in Denver during Safe Streets month. As a part of their launch, ONUS is offering a $10 ride credit when consumers download their new ride-credit app.

The $10 ride credit can be used on Uber and Lyft to local restaurants, night clubs, bars, and member clubs while earning more ride credits when you spend at those locations. The ride credits are first-come first-served and are usable through January 1, 2020.

To get the $10 ride credit, simply download the ONUS app onto your smartphone, find a place to go and book a ride. Don’t want to go alone? Make a plan, add it to your calendar, and invite your friends through the app. To earn more credits, users are encouraged to Find a Deal. The more you go out and use ONUS Pay, the more ride credits you earn. You can even open a tab using ONUS.

ONUS helps you plan responsibly so you can have an enjoyable night out. When ONUS officially launches earning ride credits will be 24-7-365.

Through ONUS, patrons will be able to stay longer and enjoy their holiday parties while knowing that they have a safe and reliable way home at the end of the night.

Currently the ONUS service is only available to these locations: Denver, Wheat Ridge, Aurora, Englewood, Commerce City, Westminster, Arvada, Dupont, Littleton, Henderson, Golden, Eastlake, Thornton, Broomfield, Idledale
