SideHustle Surpasses 200K Users Within First 3 Months

San Francisco, CA, October 03, 2019 –(PR.com)– Crowd Share is the next gen economy that has exploded recently with the rise of companies like Airbnb, Uber, Kickstarter and Postmates, building on a concept globally scaled by Craigslist, eBay and other open-platform marketplaces.

On Monday, the SideHustle app hit a major milestone by having 200,000 user downloads within its first 3 months of app store release. “I am ecstatic to see how rapidly users and businesses have adopted this platform and are transacting on a daily basis,” said Alex Kabir, SideHustle Co-Founder and CEO. Tom Seidel, SideHustle CMO, adds,”“We’ve surpassed even our own expectations on user downloads, almost entirely based on word of mouth without paid marketing.”

SideHustle is a mobile application that helps businesses and gig workers acquire customers by promoting their deals and offers to the crowd. These users, referred to as “SideHustlers,” share in the profit pool that is generated by transactions on the platform.

Businesses and gig workers of any size can promote their products and services in real time locally or nationwide at no upfront cost. Jamila Arapovic, Co-Founder and Advisor, further explains, “We have eliminated the barrier for entry for small and local merchants by elevating their visibility to the same level as the big boys.” SideHustlers refer hot deals to buyers and earn 50% of the profit-pool for each completed transaction. Buyers, in turn, can further promote the same offers resulting in a viral share funnel for all participants.

SideHustle’s mission is to streamline the marketplace. The platform gives businesses an easy way for acquiring new customers, brought on board by SideHustlers that generate an income stream by capitalizing on their time and word of mouth referral activities. Buyers benefit by redeeming promotional and discounted offers on products and services. SideHustle removes third parties and non-value-added gatekeepers that encourage an uncompetitive pay-to-play market environment.

SideHustle’s vision is to lower the cost of goods and services to consumers by tying ad spend to revenue. The platform supports B2B, B2C, C2B, and C2C transactions. “Our direct peer to peer technology eliminates inefficiencies that cause many businesses to be priced out of the market,” explains Shawn Usmani, SideHustle CTO.

“We’ve created a place where users, gig workers, and businesses can benefit from one another through the shared revenue stream. The implications are astronomical, everyone is going to save money, lower product prices, and stay in business longer,” said Kabir.

The SideHustle App is completely free to download and is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store under SideHuslte App.
