So Dumb It’s Funny presents “I Was Normal Then I Got Hit By A Car,” a fully illustrated and humorous coffee table book for men. Are you tired of trying to find the perfect gift for the guy in your life that wants nothing and has everything? If he’s got a corny sense of humor, this book is the answer. The book has 80+ pages of original illustrations where the author, Wally Gustafson, answers life’s most important questions, like “if rain could write checks, what would they be for?”
With a clean design and classic cover colors, “I Was Normal, Then I Got Hit By A Car,” is guaranteed to look great sitting on a coffee table or desk in your home or office. For the “humor impaired” there’s even a 10-page index at the back of the book that explains every illustration included.
Gustafson, co-owner of The Source Group, an online retailer of apparel and accessories based in O’Fallon, traces his silly sense of humor to being hit by a car at the age of two. “I was knocked 10 feet up the street, unconscious, the radiator imprint on my face, and blood coming out of my ears,” says Gustafson. “Amazingly, I had zero broken bones – no fractured skull. But I had a significant concussion (although they didn’t call them concussions at that time). I think much of my corny sense of humor was defined in that moment.”
