WASHINGTON — The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) will host two workshops August 9-10 in Denver for directors of community banks and federal savings associations supervised by the OCC.
The Compliance Risk: What Directors Need to Know workshop on August 9 is focused on the critical elements of an effective compliance risk management program. The workshop also emphasizes major compliance risks and critical regulations. Topics of discussion include the Bank Secrecy Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, and other compliance hot topics.
The Operational Risk: Navigating Rapid Changes workshop on August 10 covers key risk management processes, oversight roles and governance responsibilities, fraud, risk-based audit programs, and cyber threats.
The workshop fee is $99 and limited to the first 35 registrants. Participants receive course materials, supervisory materials, and lunch.
