Readout from a Treasury Spokesperson of Secretary Mnuchin’s Meeting with French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Thursday, October 17, U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin met with French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire. The Secretary and Minister Le Maire reaffirmed the importance of the longstanding economic and trade relationship between the United States and France. The Secretary and Minister discussed issues related to digital taxation, as well as security topics of mutual concern including efforts towards combating illicit financial activity.
