WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen met with Vietnam Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai to discuss our strengthening economic ties and our Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Secretary Yellen highlighted United States-Vietnam cooperation on bolstering supply chain resilience and the new U.S.-Vietnam Macroeconomic and Financial Policy Dialogue between Treasury and the State Bank of Vietnam. Secretary Yellen also conveyed her support for the advancement of Vietnam’s Just Energy Transition Partnership.
