READOUT: Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen’s Meeting with Minister of Finance Fernando Haddad of Brazil

SÃO PAULO – Today, Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen held a virtual bilateral meeting today with Brazilian Minister of Finance Fernando Haddad on the sidelines of the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting in São Paulo, Brazil. They discussed the strong bilateral relationship and explored opportunities to cooperate on our shared goals of inclusive and sustainable growth, and combatting climate change. The United States looks forward to a productive year of engagement with Brazil at the G20.
