READOUT: Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen’s Meeting with National Assembly of Vietnam President Vuong Dinh Hue

HANOI – Today, U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen met with National Assembly of Vietnam President Vuong Dinh Hue to discuss strengthening our bilateral economic relationship. Secretary Yellen expressed satisfaction with Vietnam’s progress on currency issues and conveyed her support for the advancement of Vietnam’s Just Energy Transition Partnership.  Secretary Yellen and President Hue also discussed cooperation to bolster supply chain resilience.
