Riyadh – U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin met with His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince, Deputy Premier, and Chairman of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Secretary Mnuchin thanked the Crown Prince for his hospitality and expressed his support for Saudi Arabia’s hosting of the 2020 G20 Leaders Summit and continued momentum on Vision 2030 economic reforms. The Secretary discussed working together at the G20 to deliver progress on issues including digital taxation, debt transparency and sustainability and virtual assets. The Secretary also shared his appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s continued partnership on the Terrorist Financing Targeting Center and mutual counterterrorism and illicit finance priorities.

The Secretary also discussed mutual counterterrorism and illicit finance priorities, as well as economic developments under Vision 2030 and the business and investment environment in Saudi Arabia.
