Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin serves as the Chairman of the Federal Financing Bank, the sole lender to USPS, and as Chair of the Task Force on the United States Postal System (Task Force). This fact sheet provides clarifying information on Treasury’s role relative to the USPS.
